Study Of Noise Effect On Imaging Laser Radar

This paper deals with simulation of imaging laser radar, which involves the theory of scintillation effect and the theory of output noise of the receiver. And a simulation software named simulation of imaging laser radar software is developed. Various parameters were considered as much as possible in the simulation system according to the actual situation. The distance images and intensity images can be given by the software. Because the distance images and intensity images were polluted by kinds of noises, it is hard to detect target. In this paper, intensity images were processed according to the probability of false alarm, another method was used to process the intensity images. Better results were concluded in the end.
