The Surface Mount Technology (SMT) is the technology which using the SMT special-purpose electron components to produce electric circuit panel. PCB has become an essential element in the modern electronic industry and holds the key position in Computer Science, Communication, Consumer Electronics and Automobile Electronics etc. However, research so far has mainly focused on the details of production technology and falls short of the production management. For example, some factories even lack of barcode management. They use manual management rather than information system management. This thesis is aimed to address this issue.Along with the development of the industrial production, the production management theories also come into being and widely adopted. Recently in production management, three most popular used theories are MRPⅡ, JIT and TOC. Each of them has its own advantages, but has its certain insufficiencies as well. So in the production management area, the researches of how to properly use these theories has became a hot topic. In this thesis, we try to solve the SMT production management problem by combining these theories properly.So in this thesis, the characteristics and limits of the MRPⅡ, JIT and TOC management theories are first analyzed and categorized. Combined with the characteristics in SMT Manufacture, a new way is proposed to address the problems in SMT enterprise managements. The shortages in SMT manufacture are thus discussed and the solution with the combination of these management theories is discussed in detail. A special material support system is also proposed to address the special material flow.Combined with the Oracle database to realize C/S, The principal part of the system is based on the .Net structure. We use SQL procedure to deal with the mainly logical flows. Besides the common PC part, we also develop PDA part based on the .Net Compact Framework to meet the actual needs in manufactory. Struts based on MVC structure is used to realize the signboard part. This thesis is organized in four chapters. Chapter 1 describes the research scope, the significance of the SMT manufactory and the management theory which is commonly used. Chapter 2 analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of all the three commonly used management theories as well as the functions which can help in SMT production. Through the suitable theory combination combined with SMT production the actual characteristic, a Management System in SMT Manufacture is proposed. Chapter 3 shows the systematic structure of the Management System in SMT Manufacture base on the MM thought. Chapter 4 explains the Manage System's realization details. An example is given to verify the idea. Finally, conclusions and suggestion for the future work are discussed in Chapter 5.
