Simulating the theory of Computer Operating System, the author brings forward the idea of object-oriented component integrated production management platform in this article. The platform, first of all, integrates the thought of MRPII (manufacturing resources planning) into the floor of Workshop Production Management(WPM) and try utilizing this thought into the floor in general. Secondly, the platform utilizes the method of object-oriented to describe the Workshop Manufacturing Resources (WMR), and utilizes the concept of class to construct the class family of WMR(FWMR) and builds the model of workshop with the resources extracting from the class family. This method incarnates the concept of agile manufacturing(AM).The article discusses the issues of WPM in general, planning out the software components, and systemic treating the function modules, data integration and so on. The function modules include plan and management, workshop running, workshop modeling and workshop reconstructing. And the data integration mainly deal with the integration of different database, object-oriented database (00DB) and data warehouse. In this article, the author tries using several kinds of advanced technologies and thoughts at present, such as artificial intelligence(AI) and etc. This platform is an important part of CIMS, and provides the information hicky to the other CIMS departments includingCAPP.. CAD CAM.The article takes the Dalian Railway Work(DLRW) as practical backgroud, having detailed data. So the theories comport with the practice.
