Abstract/Summary:
The target of my study is to improve the air downlink rate of the GPRS network. The study can be divided into two steps. The first step is to re-setup the PDCH in the air interface reasonable and the second step is to apply the NC2 mode in the real network. On the basis of the study, three problems can be resolved. The first problem is the PDCH setup restriction, the second is the complicated radio environment restriction, and the last is the cell reselection restriction to the air downlink rate. In the first step, a new method is put forward. We use the flux of the downlink data of the cell per hour to calculate the minimal PDCH need in the cell. In the second step, we get the result of parameters setup for NC2 application in the real network.In brief, we adjust the PDCH setup in the air interface and apply the NC2 mode in the real network; all these method can improve the downlink rate.
