It is especially suitable for interrupted, burst and frequent, few data and occasional great data transmission.Along with GPRS applications increased, specially the profession application expansion, caused the GPRS network more and more unable to adapt user's request. In order to obtain high speed and the high quality GPRS network to the user, the optimization is becoming more urgent to the network. Therefore, this paper will focus on the GPRS network optimization of the profession application, analyzes and proves the best plan for the GPRS wireless optimization.This article through introduced the concept and the system of the GPRS, the network and data transmission's characteristic and the questions of the Current GPRS network, Analyzed the multi-factors which affect the GPRS network. Through introduced the concept and influence of the core network and wireless network optimization, we can concluded that the wireless network optimization is the key which affects GPRS network performance. And we analyze the GPRS network optimization from wireless aspects wireless environment, wireless capacity, disturbance, Gb connection, and so on. We can conclude that the radio resource disposition, the wireless parameter and the wireless disturbance is the most primary factor which affects the GPRS network. Through unceasing experiment and analysis, and considered the present gprs network, we obtain the most superior disposition plan for the GPRS network.According to the most superior disposition plan of this article, we carry on the network optimization on the present network of dongying . And we contrast the effect of the optimization after and before. Each target has the obvious improvement.
