Driven by data service transmission rates continuously improve, based on traditional GSM network opened2.5G,2.75G of said GPRS, EGPRS packet data technology, data services have sprung up everywhere to become an important part of mobile operators revenue growth. After many years development, China's GSM mobile communication network the development of increasingly large scale, network technology has entered the mature stage, the operators pay more attention to cost service deep competition.Although the GSM network has matured, but from the previous inspection data of the operator and the current network cell experiment statistical results, the network resources are underutilized, the cells often have the question of radio channel resources idle or super busy. So under the premise of ensuring the quality of wireless network services, should continue to improve the utilization of wireless channel to explore the existing potential to network and reduce network operating costs, improve the operator's profit. It can be said to solve the bottleneck of wireless resources, will greatly enhance the quality of mobile communications, to meet the user a good perception,to deal with unexpected traffic, reduce the congestion of voice services, and optimize the data channel configuration.Irrational allocation of carrier frequency is in the cell current GSM network, wireless resources can not take full advantage of the environment. Under the Urumqi's mobile Network Status, survey the present mobile network data usage, collect traffic statistics reporting original data, combined with the actual use of wireless data services proposed radio resource optimization standard. Find the best cell carrier frequency configuration number and traffic congestion in the busy rate relationship, and put forward the best per line range of traffic and the best traffic channel utilization concepts, and finally combined with data services to cell level capacity requirements and fine cell channel configuration, on how to give the corresponding channel configuration principles rational allocation of channel resources between voice and data services.The best traffic intervals and the best traffic channel utilization is different from traditional methods and meet the new standard.
