Construct The Net Video Conference System Based On FLASH MEDIA SERVER

The popularization of the network promotes the development of the video conference. In this thesis, we introduce the origin, development and significances of video conference. Then we elaborate knowledge of stream media technology and the characteristics of Macromedia Flash Media Server (FMS).We raise the superiority of the net video conference developed by FMS technology and discuss the crucial problem of the application of FMS to achieve the net video conference system on the Internet environment. Finally, we discourse the design of client module and the process of achievement by the user case diagram, flow chart and function code.In the main part of this thesis, client module of net video conference system achieved related operations in the meeting-room after login of users, such as file transport, adjusting of audio and video, and setting of image position. This module was developed based on Macromedia Flash 8 environment with fine interface, good interaction, short development cycle, simple debugging process and easy service.
