Design And Implementation Of Video Conference System Based On Java Media Framework

With the rapid development of computer network technology and multimedia technology, people are no longer satisfied with voice and text communication. Meeting is also gradually transferred from traditional round-table meeting to the modern mode of network video conference room. The rapid development of streaming media technology can make multimedia content dynamic transmission, make video, audio and text image information not restricted by region, and make the participants involved in the video conference share information together, Therefore, streaming media technology as a research hotspot of modern video conference is mainly analyzed in this thesis. Video conferencing technology has higher demands for its hardware. So this software framework based on JMF video conference technology is another research purpose of this thesis.In this paper, according to the principle of the realization of the video conference, choose JMF Java multimedia framework as a development platform, puts forward the B/S mode under the framework of Java multimedia video conference system.We take advantage of the JMF technology and RTP Protocol. JMF is used for the capture, disposal, transformation and display of the media data. And RTP is responsible for transporting the media data to the remote user.On the basis of the requirements of Video-conference System, the overall design and the detailed design of database table for meeting management, graphic communication, electronic whiteboard module, video and voice module have been carried on, which determine the implementation scheme of the system. According to the modular design, the system is accomplished including audio, video capture and transmission equipment and each module.With the video capture, playback and encoding and decoding tools provided by Java multimedia frame JMF, video and audio transmission is realized in the Java application program and Red5 video server are used to transmit video multimedia message in video conference. Each module of Video-conference System presents detailed implementation method and the module flowchart or the timing diagram. Finally, according to the test case, the function and performance of the system for the overall test results show that the system has certain stability, resistance and high load resistance. The construction of JMF-based Video-conferencing System has high stability and strong practicality with certain social significance and economic benefits.
