Research On Roaming System Based On Virtual Reality

The Virtual Walk-through technology is an important content of Virtual Reality technology, it was developed in architecture, junketing, game, aviation, spaceflight,medicine fastly. Because it's important 3I characteristic immersive, intercooperation, imaginative, the other Walk-through technology has no advantage compared to it.The purpose of this thesis is to discuss the VirtualReality technology of Virtual Walk-through System. By reading a great deal of correlated document, analyzing many different 3D modeling tools, the Virtual Touring System is degined by the author which is based on the technology of VRML. At the same time 3D Max and Canoma is also used.This article discusses the virtual reality related technology, and the modeling method, the modeling texture mapping, multi-resolution level of detail (LOD), the code-reusing (DEF/USE), the scene optimization techniques and the current quite popular VRML related technology are deeply analyzed .Finally, the campus roaming system is degined which is based on the virtual reality technology.
