Study On Key Technology Of The Information Sharing And Display System In VTS

With the rapid development of the information technology and ship traffic, China's VTS (Vessel Traffic Services) also rearch a period of high-speed growing. However, as China's VTS systems in coastal regions working independently, the VTS centers adopt different system of different manufacturers, so that different standards of information, information sharing and exchange channels poor form a lot of "information islands" As a result, The level of development and utilization of information resources in VTS centres is not high, information resources has not been fully effective. At the same time, the vigorous development of the shipping industry makes the shipping company, Pilot Station, the Marine need VTS system information on the increasing demand.In view of this status quo with the actual problems and needs in the project of the West Regions, the thesis analyses the feasibility of a national network of the information and the data format. Using VC++6.0 as the tool, I designed a software platform for sharing the information. The main research fruits in this thesis are constituted by several fractions:(1) Analyze the structure of interconnection through the wide area network link of VTS system, opt for the DDN network VTS as a communication link.(2) Analyze the situation of domestic and international information exchange on the VTS about the format of the situation; put forward the sharing information on data formats and communication protocol format in engineering practice.(3) Completed the collection of two ships VTS system dynamic tracking information collection (including serial and FTP both), information standards conversion, information processing and transmission of information and display systems for software design.(4) Improve information sharing services platform, using electronic chart display as a sharing server platform, completed the input and display of S-57 data, and custom format conversion, tadopt more efficient data structure which greatly increases the speed of electronic chart display.The information collection, information processing and transmission software has been successfully used in the western countries project, and have achieved good results.
