A Research On The Key Technology Of AIS And The Realization Of Its Integration With ECDIS

The main application field of AIS is the vessel collision and VTS. AIS have provided the unprecedented vessels tag information and high real time and accurate parameter of ships navigating. It can provide more information, better real time and stronger anti-jamming than radar can do, and it also has other virtues such as transmitting over obstacles. In a word, AIS can bring the revolutionary progress to the supervision of the vessels navigating in the sea.In foreign countries, many research works have been taken on the AIS technology, so the criterion of AIS has been updated continually. But in our nation, such research is poor and lacks the relevant information. Nowadays, the application of AIS also becomes wider and wider in our country, in order to make full use of AIS information, it semms important to combine AIS with ECDIS.This article will research the key-technology of AIS system, and is focus on the researches of transmission protocol, and also have carried out the integration between AIS and ECDIS. This paper mainly include:1. This paper has introduced the AIS system simply, and has analyzed the combination superiority of the AIS system and the ECDIS.2. This paper has carried on deep research to several kinds of key technology that AIS involved. Firstly, it does research on the AIS system framework of network communication. Secondly, it focuses on High-level Data Link Control. Thirdly and which is the last of this chapter, it researches on the Gaussian Filtered Minimum Shift Keying technology.3. This paper is focusing on the researching of the transmission protocol of AIS and of the every parameter changing in them, so it is good for the latter production's manufacture, especially for the software developing aspect.4. This paper has analyzed the system of the ECDIS (chapter four) from theoretical system and researched S-57 ECDIS.
