With the constant and further development of reformation of our country's banking industry, the competition between different banks becomes more and more fierce. And with the competition and development of modern commercial banks, the banks begin to break the frameworks of traditional services and extend banking business at full scale, using banking innovation and services as main means. The customers also hope to get more value-added services such as payroll credit, collecting fee credit, ticket agent, transfer of accounts across banks (systems), real time payment, personal payment plan, banking information services etc besides those traditional services. Therefore the"Intermediate Business Service"named by banks, one branch of services, comes into being and increasingly becomes one new point of growth and a necessary part of service expanding of various commercial banks, which is one important development direction of banking business.As is stated above, the system needs to have enough flexibilities and configurations considering the diversities and complexities of"Intermediate Business Service Platform". Therefore traditional way of thinking of software design does not fit in Intermediate Business Service Platform .According to the project of Intermediate Business Service Platform of Guizhou, the thesis proposes RLM (Resource Level Model) based on groupware and oriented object design by employing TUXEDO and workflow technique. It enables that the individual part of the system remains relatively independent, which makes the different modules easily developed and debugged, and realizes the functional expansion.The Intermediate Business Service Platform has worked very well since it put into service in 2006, which implies that it's feasible and reliable by using RML to construct it.
