With the fast development of metropolitan area network, it is more urgent for the researching which is applied in the CWDM (coarse wavelength-division multiplexing). Flexible and high efficient networks in optical layer can be directly realized by introducing optical nodes such as OADM and OXC into WDM networks. Based on integrated Acoustic-Optical Tunable Filter (AOTF), OADM can connect with other nodes flexibly, which can improve the efficiency and switch capacity of WDM systems, and make WDM system survive in the variable network structure. This thesis studies the parameter control of OADM based on AOTF which can connect with other nodes flexibly in CWDM.Chapter 2 introduces the basic theory of acousto-optical tunable filter, and emphasizes the importance of RF control and temperature control.Chapter 3 and chapter 4 introduce the embedded control of OADM. In chapter 3, the operational principle ofμC-OS II is firstly introduced. Then the process of transplanting the embedded systemμC-OS II on the hardware platform based on the ARM7 is described in detail. And we also present how to put the RF and temperature control's program into theμC-OS II. In chapter 4, the operational principle of LwIP is introduced, and then process of transplanting LwIP based on the ARM7+μC-OS II is described in detail, including testing the network capability and analyzing it. At last, an embedded WEB server based on the embedded system is created which can meet the OADM's demand of long-distance control.Chapter 5 introduces frequency control of OADM, including the RF control module's basic theory and the implement of RF control circuit. The temperature control module's basic theory and the implement of temperature control circuit, which is cooperated with the RF control module to make the frequency steady, are also introduced.
