Design And Implementation Of WebGIS-based Exploration Information System

The process of oil exploration is the process of information acquisition, processing, interpretation and application essentially. It formed amount of valuable professional information. The preservation and application of the information have significant value for new exploration deployment and the production. Simultaneously, exploration data have the characteristic of multiple sources, multiple types, multiple dimensions, multiple numbers, multiple tense and multiple subjects characteristic. So it is very difficult to acquire, preserve and manage data. The exploration data have the strong geography relativity; the traditional RDBMS and MIS system can not perform and process the spatial characteristic of the exploration data.The article researches and discusses about the difficulties of the Exploration Information Management deeply. Firstly, research about the spatial data model, data structure, and data processing technique and management method; give the feasible method of set up the database of the spatial data. Then through the discussion and analysis of the Web GIS, design the Exploration Information System structure. Under the Web platform, using the GIS construction integration MIS system tightly; achieved the unification and the high efficiency management of the exploration information.Based on the above research and discussion, the article designed and realized the Exploration Information Management based on the theory and method of software engineer in the end. It has finished the construction of spatial database, realized the united management of spatial data and attributive data, and realized the vision management of exploration information and the conformity of MIS and information resources.During the process of research, the article has resolved the following key technique: the processing and construction of spatial data , system structure and realize of Web GIS, spatial coordinate and coordinate system conversion , data exchange and vision control technique based on XML and XSL .
