Due to the development of remote sensing and sensing technique at very fast speed, image data obtained become the geometric progression growth. At the beginning of this century, commercial remote sensing satellites tide which spatial resolution is by meter is along. These meter-level geodesic data boost the development of remote sensing application infinitely. At the one hand, because the mount of spatial data is huge, they are need to be organized and stored reasonably and to establish corresponding searching mechanism for enhancing access speed and efficiency. At the same time, with the internet technique to develop continuously and GIS to be applied extensively, the share of the spatial data was mentioned as the important schedule. At the other hand, much information in back of a great deal of spatial data that have decision-making meaning are concealed. But pure application of querying, searching and displaying the spatial data by the means of visualization does not make full use of and mine hidden information in the sea quantity spatial data database. The rapid growth of spatial data mount and the difficult that people handle and comprehend them come into being strong contrast. Above present condition brought forward new demands for how to manage, analyze, apply and share these multi-scale remote sensing data.
