Research And Application Of Net Scientific Resource Integration Model

In recent years, China has gradually increased investment to the field on net scientific resource of management, and has scored spectacular achievements. To further enhance the utilization of network technology resources, and reduce network technology resource management costs, China proposed "National Facilities and Information Infrastructure for Science and Technology" for the long-term goal. This paper studies the background is "Construction of Integrated Net Scientific Resource Environment", which is the subproject of "Basic Application Service System of National Facilities and Information Infrastructure for Science and Technology". The goal of project is to build a system which can integrate net scientific resource data from heterogeneous nodes.The paper gave a modular net scientific resource integrations model that based on data warehouse. Net scientific resource integrations model includes three modules called Initiative Access, Heterogeneous Database and Directory Combination. In the Initiative Access module, the paper realized extraction of resources from websites based on spider. In the Heterogeneous Database module, the paper used the database connection middleware to realize the recognition of heterogeneous databases and the integrate data in those databases. In the Directory Combination module, realized the mapping from local user categories to standard categories using the facade pattern, which is one of the design patterns. Besides, against the common problems in the process of resource integration, the paper extracted a prototype of relevant criterion based on the resource integration module. The criterion includes "meta date standards" that used to define meta data information, "categories creation and service standards" that used to form category service and establish category servers, "resource integration standards" that used to define the contents and methods of the integration and "running service standards" that used to take charge of dally maintenances.The paper put use of net scientific resource integration model and extracted relevant standards into the integration system, and made expansion implementations. In the inner testing stage, the system successfully integrates 1T data, which indicates that the practical application of resource integration model runs well.
