Study Of The Heterogeneous Databases Integration Techniques And It's Application In Tianjin Government Affair Resource Platform

With the development of Electronic Government Affairs in Tianjin, it becomes agreat difficulty of information system construction that most departments have theirown databases which are incompatible with each other. The aim of this paper is toshow how to implement a Government Resource Platform with the help ofheterogeneous databases theory. The paper focus on the following:1. Analyze current situation of information construction in Tianjin and point outthe problems in it.2. Analyze the reason that causes the heterogeneous database and give somepossible resolution for heterogeneous database.3. Give a brief introduction to the key techniques used in the implementation ofGovernment Resource Platform, including Directory, XML and Component.4. With the theory of Software Engineering, give an introduction to theimplementation of Government Resource Platform, including requirementanalyze, architecture design, detailed design, coding and test.
