As a kind of life style and cultural-ideology emerged in the Western developed countries and accepted and widespreaded rapidly between the 19th century and early 20th century, Consumerism are also achieving a comprehensive penetration in our social life with the deep-going China's Reform and Opening and the acceleration of globalization. Consumerism prevails in our country, on the one hand can not do without the medium; on the other hand, it also brings a multifaceted impact to the medium itself, which the most notable just was, Chinese medium was getting into a"consumed era"driven in the consumerism.The thesis just focused on consumerism and the"consumed era"of Chinese medium .The research started with the definition of the two concepts, and the spring-up of the consumerism in the Western countries and the prevailence in our country, and analyzed the inevitability that consumerism and the medium interacts. and considered that they shaped conspiracy finally, contributed to the coming of the"consumed era"of medium. The thesis put forward and analyzed specific presents emphatically of"consumed era"of medium: a lot of reports about consumerism lifestyle in the medium, which coursed the serious showing of media consumption tendencies in the content; the medium itself went towards utilitarian with the affect of the the market idea and the logic of the market became guiding the media operation, the information products became common products gradually. The thesis give a rational and dialectical assessment to this"consumer era"of Chinese medium in the last: on the ground of agreeing with the inevitability and positive significance of its emergency, we also put criticism to its negative affects. Thus, the thesis formed a complete system around the core"consumed era"of Chinese medium in the main.
