It is inevitable that Digital TV will take place of analog TV. Digital Television Terrestrial is fond of people for its wonderful mobile receivable capability. These years, the Digital TV Terrestrial Broadcasting is in great progress in the whole world, and many countries are zealously developing the Digital TV Terrestrial Broadcasting systems. so does China. Many cities in China have started to trial-broadcast adopting the systems according with the European Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial standard. The standard applied a lot of advanced coding and modulation technology, such as the MPEG-2 Multiplexing technology and the Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division technology.The Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial receiver was composed of the tuner, the demodulation module, the demuxing module, the decoding module and so on. And the core of the receiver are the demuxing module and the decoding module. We select chip DTTi5516 made by the STelectronic Company and its scheme. And the Samsung's Tuner was used as the receiving vaunt-courier of the receiver. The receiver adopted the special Real Time Operating System OS20.And based on the OS20, the Application Program Interface encapsulated some universal interface to the Application layer.In the receiver, the digital TV service was implemented, including the Electronic Program Guide, the Program management, Teletext, Subtitle, and so on. And the Electronic Program Guide service was the most important part. The Electronic Program Guide is implemented by parsing the Service Information and then rebuilding it in the receiver. And the process included demuxing process and the program database established process. There are three testing methods for the DVB-T receiver. The first method is the function testing, which tests the setted function of the receiver. The second method is the performance testing, which tests the output parametrics and performance of the receiver in the laboratory. The last is the spot testing, which tests the receiving performance near the radio station. All testing results showed that the DVB-T receiver has been successfully realized.
