Key Technology Of Program Broadcasting System In Digital TV

At present, the digitization of CATV is being developed in an orderly way in our country. This new digital CATV system includes: program platform, transfer platform, serving platform and stakeout platform. To build an expansible, steady and safe program broadcasting system is the core of program platform, and also is what this paper researches on. The realization of this system could guide the construction of program broadcasting system all over the country.Based on the fact project--the development of BTV's program broadcasting system, the paper brings forwards the solving scheme to build system level's main and backup platform. In the following chapter, explains and discuss the system in detail with related theories.This program broadcasting system includes seven modules: video server system, second storing disk system, controlling and managing system, main-backup switching system, network system, monitoring system, and living system etc. Function independency, but interface tightness. The paper will discuss the realization of each module.As an integrated system, many technologies are adopted, such as video server technology, network communication, IPC, and distributed database.Now, this system has been used in BTV, and being run all right for more than half a year, and gained good application result. This system will be a successful example in the course of digitization of CATV.
