The building of the global information superhighway and the development of Internet / Intranet bring tremendous impetus and impact to people's work ,study and life which has undergone tremendous changes for the entire community of science and technology, economy and culture, the network has become an indispensable part within people's working and living. Further development of the market economy as well as China's accession to the WTO in the background, various departments and external environment for enterprises increasingly competitive pressures, core business operations and the Internet concentrated management become a development trend, and the requirements of network security, reliability and real-time are growing, difficulty of network management sectors are also growing.As computer networks linked with the diversity, the uneven distribution of terminals ,networks` open, interconnective, and other features, whether in the LAN or WAN, there are both natural and man-made numerous factors, such as the vulnerability and potential threats. The losses caused by network malfunction are growing; information security has become an significant component of comprehensive national strength, economic strength and national competition in the new century. According to the data estimated by experts in "Network and Communications", global network malfunction caused 55 billion US dollars losses in 2005. This is caused by the current enterprises network maintenance deficiencies and management measures which are fell behind. And now the traditional network management tools generally use the "passive" approach: solutions are always arised after the problems. It is obvious that " resolve after problems" is very difficult to adapt to "business-critical" requirements, which would lead to the cessation of business, loss of data, etc. . Therefore, the network maintenance should be able to adapt all-round measures to reply to various threats and vulnerabilities and to conduct a comprehensive network monitoring, analysis, in order to ensure the safety of network information, integrity, stability and availability.Fault Analysis System of Integrated Network came into being in this situation, with comprehensive and preventive network monitoring, management and maintenance,it can realize analytical management work of network function, malfunction,and so on,without affecting network performance in the meantime.This system can resolve some questions, such as failure of physical equipment's interconnection in physical layer or hardware and line because of their own problems; questions of network equipment interface's configuration in data link layer; errors of network protocol configuration or operation in net layer; congestion of equipment function or communications, etc.. This system can concentrate on resolving network faults and analysising network bottlenecks to improve the quality of network using, greatly reduce network managers `s workload, and effectively protect important departments'networks for running.Fault Analysis System of Integrated Network uses NDIS driver intermediate layer inserting their own processing between the network cards driver and the driver transmission layer. Thus the system is used to capture network packet and simulate network packet transmission, then real-time decode information, analyze , statistics, and based on an analysis and the statistics ,it can diagnose network faults and analysis performance. At the same time, this system is also able to track the network performance and service level, timely detect and alert service level problems and performance bottlenecks. The system can be divided into six major functional models, including: real-time statistical analysis, real-time decoding summary, decoding of detailed analysis network faults, analyzing of the process of TCP connection, simulation of the high grade agreement analytical and print output of statistical statements.The main task of this paper is to discuss the design and implementation of Fault Analysis System of Integrated Network, give the overall system architecture model, and focus on the relationship and design of all the information process ,mainly including: driver of NDIS virtual protocol, processing of communication interface DLL library, processing of statistical analysis of real-time data, data processing document analysis, processing of flow transmition and transmission flow filter.The paper presented the realization of some key technologies at the same time, including: protocol decoding, protocol explaining, data filtering, TCP connection status, IP packets divided assembly, shared buffer zone data file structure, part of the buffer zone mapping structure. The article separately describes the process of detailed analysis of the agreement model and real-time summary of the analytical process analytical models, analytical process of nested category and class template examples of such analysis data structure ; Site filtering, protocol filtering, data model definition and the conditions for filtering data structure; TCP connection status records, TCP Packet to determine the type; IP reorganization of operations for the data structure, IP reorganization algorithm; sharing the buffer zone structure; TTC IPHONE, Observer, Sniffer data file structure; large parts of the buffer zone mapping structure. Currently in Fault Analysis of Integrated Network , China mainly relies on foreign company's products, these products have merit in the performance, but also have a very expensive product prices. The successful development of the system can possesses create products with our own intellectual property and provided an effective means for government network systems agencies, the military and financial, securities, telecommunications, transportation, energy and other key national sectors and departments of network management and maintenance .Through the construction of the project we not only improved domestic the overall level of network products, but also have a great significance for protecting the operation of the network stability, speeding up the process of building the national economy and information , promoting the rapid development of national network industry.As the item manager of Fault Analysis System of Integrated Network ,I took the charge of organize and manage the item, and design the system.The development of this system have finished currently, and turn into a selling expansion stage. As the first version this system, there are still some functions which are not perfect, but in the next version of the plans, we will focus on the function of exploiting expert systems.
