Management System Of Restaurant Business And Data Visualization Research And Implementation

With the development of society , informatisation has become an essential complement of many industries. In the operation of the restaurant business tedious and complicated calculating is necessary in order to obtain some direct and persuasive data. Therefore, information technology which can simplify the complex tasks and also help to find out the questions hidden in data is becoming indispensable for the restaurant industry. At present the Internet technology is being used widely almost in every trade but further research into how to develop applied management software of restaurant business is still needed. According as Delphi language, network, and ADO database access technology, this article puts forward a management software based on C/S using SQL Server, i.e. management using software instead of manual processes. By giving a complete technical solution of management system of restaurant business, the thesis analyzes the development process of management system of restaurant business in detail, and substitutes for manual processes finally. The main tasks are the following:1) Introduces the development of ADO technology, and proposes the necessity and meaning of the research according to the instances of restaurant business.2) Aims at analysing the operation of restaurant business and selects Client/Server model. In terms of calculating response speed, stability and maintenance it suits the requirements of the restaurant management system.3) By analysis on the key techniques, gives the technical solution which implements the management system of restaurant business using SQL Server database, Delphi language and ADO database access technology.4) According to the design principle and purpose, analyzes on the functions, modules, and system flow of the management system of restaurant business, etc. Illuminates in details the user login module, front-end and back-end operations together with the application of ADO technology in each modules.The purpose of the thesis is to explore the basic architecture, key techniques, implement techniques, design and solution of subsystems of the management system of restaurant business. Implements a complete and applied management system of restaurant business and brings forward the application of the most popular technologies inrestaurant business.In the thesis, researches on the business and architecture of restaurant trade, which provides some experience and information for further research tasks. However, due to the limit of time and the author's scholarship, the thesis only implements management system of current restaurant business and completes existing functions. More work is needed to be done to make the system perfect and many issues are needed to be researched. The following could be worked on in further research:First, management of preferential treatments can be more flexible. There will be more preferential treatments. This can be the emphasis of system development in future to perfect the system.Second, the system should be equipped with radiomenu and direct back-end print, which can be made faster through radio communicating technology and the Internet printing technologh in futureFinally, the management of members can be improved, for example, reminder of members'birthdays and notice of available preferential treatments. There is SMS software already, and our further task is to interface with it to make the management more convenient. It helps to save time and offer more considerate service.
