In resent years, the coal accidents happened frequently in our country, especially gas and roof accidents. The roof accidents jeopardize the safety of coal mine seriously. According to the statistics of our country's coal mine accidents, the number of the roof accidents is always more than the others.The mine pressure detecting and controlling is the absolutely necessary task to achieve the mine's scientific management and to reduce the roof accidents. Nowadays, many traditional mechanical and hydraulic mine pressure detecting instruments are widely applied in our country, but their work efficiency is very low. However, the advanced mine pressure detecting systems are too complicated to configure, and these systems are also too difficult to install and maintain, because they adopt the telephone line or the optical fiber to communicate with each other. So it is necessary to research a new type coal mine pressure detecting instrument which is high-precision and simple-communication.After studying and analyzing the actuality of coal mine pressure detecting instruments in home and abroad, this paper designs a new type wireless coal mine pressure collection and intelligent analysis system. This system is made up of two instruments: the coal mine pressure data collection instrument and the intelligent analysis instrument. They adopt the high-performance microcontroller LPC2131 and LPC2138. The system is low power-expenditure. The coal mine pressure data collection instrument's function: collecting and storing the roof pressure data timely, receiving and disposing the intelligent analyzing instrument's command data by the wireless communication mode, transmitting the command and data by the wireless communication relay. The pocketable intelligent analysis instrument includes the graphic user interface, and the interface can be manufacted by the function key. This instrument's functions: receiving and storing the pressure data wirelessly, displaying graphicly and analyzing the pressure data in every spot, and transmitting the pressure data to the computer.First of all, this paper presents the partition of each instrument's function, the main designing idea, and the selection of the communication method in brief. Then, according to each instrument's function requirement, it presents the hardware and software in detail. In order to collecting the pressure data conveniently, we adopt the wireless relay transmission, and design the wireless relay data transmission network protocol.After practising in many times, it turns out that this system can work reliably and can be operated simply. In addition, the system has many advantages, such as high-precision, low power consumption. This system is fit for detecting the coal mine pressure, and also improves the work efficiency of the pressure data collection.
