The design of a wireless data collection system based on IC nRF401 has been introduced. The system uses master-slave architecture, and the master can sample the data of multiple points at the same time. In order to insure the reliable transmission of the data, a protocol must be made to adjust the transmission between the master and slave. User can control the parameters of the system such as the sampling frequency by means of the communication with the system. With the development of wireless communication, the application area of wireless data transmission system is expanding unceasingly. the monitoring system based on RF(Radio Frequency)technology is one of the great applications of wireless data transmission in wireless communication and automatic area. According to the distributed characteristics of the sensor in the control field, a embedded monitoring and control system based on the Radio Frequency (RF) are presented and developed in the thesis. The MCU selected in the system is P89V51RD2, that realizes the control of the RF module and data transmission. nRF401 produced by the Nordic company is chosen to fulfill the short distance wireless data transmission in ISM band which is used generally in the world.A small network with the wireless module is introduced in this thesis, A host station and terminals is point to multi-point wireless data transmission. Data are exchanged between host and main controller through serial ports. The main controller disposes of data by a application software. This wireless communication platform based on the embedded monitoring network can be widely used in industrial control field, And it shows a splendid application in the future.
