Blind equalization is a new self-adaptive equalization technology. It needs no training sequence, only utilizing transmitted signals prior information to equalize. Nowadays, Blind equalization study has become the most active branch in digital communication system. Blind equalizer is a self-adaptive equalizer based on blind equalization. Compared with common equalizer, blind equalizer has a wider application and convergence field. Blind equalizer based on FPGA can give obvious compensation to transmitted signals, and also improve wireless channel transmission performance. The primary subject of this paper is1. A FPGA hardware realization method of CMA blind equalizer is given. Namely, the combination method between from-top-to-bottom and from-bottom-to-top were used into blind equalization design.2. Function blocks partition was implemented. The system is divided into four blocks: election of coefficient, filter, sentence and coefficient adaptive adjuster.3. Bottom blocks, such as adder, multiplier etc, are designed in top blocks design process. Bottom blocks was called according to top blocks demand.4. The input signal is given by Matlab, the simulation and time series analysis is carried out with MAX+PLUS II. The result of simulation is compared with the result of Matlab to make it exact. The simulation indicated that blind equalizer error rates became smaller. Moreover, to some channel, some of them had 0 error code. Blind equalizer effect was perfect given here.
