In the paper it combines electronic information technology with architectural technology to design a kind of real-time data acquisition and monitoring system using in foundation pit excavation, and was applied to the project already. The system is mainly composed of data acquisition module, wireless communication module and a computer. The digital, network data acquisition which based on wireless transmission is uesd in construction. It has the characteristics of simple structure and powerful functions, and gets over the shortcomings that the cycle is long, the calculation is complex and the efficient is poor, which was formerly measured by people.Nowadays in the fields of industry measuring and monitoring system, the traditional way of data transmission was used by cable, but with the development of the technology of radio frequency and integrate circuit, the application of wireless communication is easier than before. It has extensive application prosperity due to its advantage of low cost, fast to build the net, high adaptability and easy to maintain the services and so on.In the paper it introduces the basic architecture of data acquisition system. The frame of distributed data acquisition system based on wireless transmission is presented. Circuit design of wireless data transmission system based on PTR4000 is researched. The wireless data transceiver module named PTR4000, which takes nRF2401 as kernel chip, the single chip microprocessor named AT89C2051, and their circuit connection is introduced. The software design is elaborated including the main program and several primary subprograms. It solves the problem of real-time monitoring of axes-stress during excavating, and effectively prevents accidents.The research of wireless data transmission system is summarized, and aspects to be improved in the future are listed at last.
