An ultrasound device terminal based on embedded processor is proposed and realized in this paper, which is mainly used to battlefield trauma. The architecture of this terminal is based on ARM and FPGA. And the embedded Linux and MiniGUI are introduced in this system, which change the architechture of portable ultrasound fundamentally. Compared with the ultrasound based on FPGA, this design has more function and interface and could display clearer images. And this portable ultrasound has most functions compared with the ultrasound based on PC. But this one is cheaper, smaller and lower power cost.Dependind on lucubrating of the connect between ARM and FPGA, the data transport of ultrasound and the real display of dynamic high resolution ultrasound images are solved smoothly. Within the Linux operatin, the display of ultrasound images and operation interface are seamless convergence, which should ascribe to the networking communication mechanism. And a complete ultrasound operation interface is designed based on being familiar with the architecture of MiniGUI.The final debug result shows that this ultrasound terminal achieves expected techniqual target both in hardware and software, and this device can be used widely.
