The Research And Aplication Of Embeded System Base On Linux

This paper mainly discusses the research and application of embeded system base on Linux.Firstly a summarization about embeded system is given, then the paper brings forward a plan that develop an embeded operating system base on Linux with the careful analysis of embeded system characteristics and the advantages of Linux, argumenting the feasibility, two obstacles:real time and GUI are presented simultaneity.Secondly,a real-time kernel as a solution to real time is given base on the analysis of theory and implementation of embeded Linux,the solution proved its highly effective, then the paper describes the method of realization,the way communicating to normal kernel ,API about the real-time kernel.In order to plant into the ROM or FLASH, a normal Linux kernel is cut,then we develope a typical application about network on a platform of embeded system.Then the paper discusses the framework, mechanism and important technology of MiniGUI, the advantages and shortcomings between Threads version and Lite version, based on the analysis a plan with multi-process to improve performance of real-time is brought up.Finally,the paper gives some conclusion and foresight about the embeded Linux.
