Grid technology is an important direction of the development of computer technology now days, it integrates the resources that located in different areas and forms an organism. It also provides a new kind of computing platform, and makes the large-scale sharing of resources and co-work between virtual organizations becomes possible. It provides a basis mechanism for the discovery and management of grid resources, furthermore, it can plans and adjustments the behaviors of software, provides service for the applications above grid, finds resources and schedules the resources, etc. The accurate access to information resources, run-time call and orderly management become the main problem in the management of resources.In this paper, a kind of grid resource management model has been researched and established based on the existed DNCPC UCGRID2.0 grid platform, this model is well constructed and easy to be developed. It contains 5 layers: grid resource layer, grid resource management basic establishment layer, grid resource adapter layer, grid resource management engine layer and campus computing grid resource management interface layer. The grid resource management engine has been engine encapsulates all kinds operations concerned about grid resource adapter and grid resource, and it provides the interface that can manages grid resource, manages the grid resource adapter and different grid platform. The grid resource adapter is mainly in charge of the invocation and draw out of resource. In order to connect more grid resource to the grid platform, the grid resource adapter realization criterion has been made out in this paper, and according to this criterion, grid user can develop adapter that concerned to specific resource. Finally the DNCPC UCGRID3.0 Resource Management portal has been developed with Flex technology.
