With the rapid development of automation technology, there is a higher and higher demand in the degree of distribution. Remote I/O system is such a new control system which can transfer the function of the data process and control to the spot around the equipment which is different from traditional distribute control system. Therefore, a lot of signal could be processed in the field. It really achieves the physical dispersion which based on the actualization of the decentralized control function.This paper is based on SunyTDC9200 distribute control system developed by Zheda Zhongzi Integrated Control Co.Ltd. After analyzing the situation and development trend of the remote I/O control systems in domestic and foreign countries, and focusing on the strong demand of decentralization in the enterprises, a new unique architecture and framework of the remote I/O control system with a steady and dependable software implementation project is proposed. It actualizes the communication function between remote I/O station and distribute control system.The main work and creativity list as follows:(1) Clear know about tasks and objectives of remote I/O system development by analysing the demand of remote I/O system industries.(2) Propose hardware architecture of the remote I/O control system and template hardware design of the remote I/O station by researching on the characteristics of the industrial control industries.(3) The transparent transfer between control station and remote I/O station does not affect the normal communications between the original control system template with other local template.(4) The software design and implementation of communication modules is divided into CNet communication module, fiber-optic communication module and data security module.(5) On the basis of software design, communications of remote I/O template are more secure and reliable by realizing of the data security functions.(6) Software system testing schemes and results are given.
