Design Of Remote Base Station Inspection System Based On The Internet Of Things

With the continuous development of China's mobile communications business, network coverage is constantly expanding, and base stations inspection has become the most important task within the communications company. On this condition, the traditional way of manual inspection cannot meet the basic requirements of inspection. However, the remote monitoring inspection system which has been developed in recent years by using computers and other electronic devices in series cannot fully capture the required information of inspection. Thus, Internet of Things technology used in inspection can realize the information collection of base stations and their environment, and can achieve a real-time feedback about stoppage and emergency, which can improve inspection efficiency and the stability of communication systems.Considering the problem that the previous base station's inspection system can not remotely monitor base station's condition, by using the Internet of Things technology, this paper designed and developed a set of remote base station inspection system. First of all, the author studies the key technology and algorithms for this remote control inspection system, and a message-interception has been put forward. Then, as for the defect that the previous inspection system can not make automatic inspect and test, based on windows mobile system, a new way of making base station's inspection and testing has been proposed. Later, as for the conflict of multi-tag of RFID (radio frequency identification), an anti-conflict algorithm has been presented by facing the simple labeling system. Also, as for the slow loading of pictures in the geographic information system, a new method of map loading and dynamic displaying tagging algorithm have been raised. At last the remote control of this inspection system has been achieved. Users can be connected to this system as long as they're surfing on the Internet.This system has been applied in company of Changsha Mobile. Through this system, inspection staff achieves a remote control and real-time collection for base stations internal information, and can handle the collected data in order to find fault warning and as a data support. Merely through web can this process be achieved, which is a virtual presentation. And this process maintains a base station'normal operation enhances work efficiency and saves labor cost.
