The change from the industrial society of material to post-industrial society of non-material, which is the mainly trend of design, is promoted by information technology. Non-material design is a relative concept about material design.The sticking point of design was moved form material manufacture, is be consider as a culture and understanding course, which is the new meaning of design.From material deisgn to non-material design, which is reflected the non-materialize of society and is a advanced phase of society.The paper, based on the relationship between non-material design and UI design and the theories, such as consumer psychology and semeiology, analyse the fashionable phenomenon of the cellphone UI design for exploring a method of using the analysis of fashionable elements to lead the cellphone fashionable UI design. According to the reason,central point,distribution of those elements, the paper created a series of mode about researching the fashionable elements of UI design for leading the design.The design mode continuously code and decode the design information through the analysis of target users, so get the most attentive typical fashionable elements, then analyse the character of them and instruct the UI design. That mode also is regarded as"typical fashionable elements"design mode.The writer experienced the influence from non-material elements to the human life, and integrated the design experiences about UI design for discussing the cellphone fashion design under the non-material times. It uses two design projects to prove the rationality and portentous.
