The topic of this design is "Design of Documentary App Based on User Experience Elements,Taking Documentary Vertical Community as an Example".Today,with the rapid development of information,documentaries featuring realism can to a certain extent reduce the cognitive inefficiencies and deviations caused by information narrowing,fragmentation,and fictitious information.The topic originated from the "popularization of high-quality documentaries in the digital media era.The phenomenon is unfolding,aiming to create a documentary community that meets the development trend of the social and Internet industry through vertical content APP design.To solve the current domestic documentary platform due to the interface,experience design is seriously behind and led to the problem of low viscosity of the group of young users.The design work is an APP,a set of design specifications,and an APP content plan.The work provides a new documentary community based on interest and interaction for creative professionals,knowledge explorers,and young people who have a strong desire for the authenticity and richness of their lives,in order to improve the social activity and topicality of documentary films.The development of our country's documentary film industry and cultural undertakings will have a corresponding boosting effect.Demand research report,focusing on the depth of user groups documentary interviews with focus groups,understanding of user preferences,while supplemented by literature review,online information collection and comparison of documentary platforms at home and abroad,found that users have a strong demand for the authenticity and richness of documentaries However,the obsolete interface,lack of personalized features,single-level content,and poor user experience are the general status quo of domestic documentary platforms,providing creative entry points for this design.The theoretical research report is based on the principles of design to express the authenticity and richness of content,and studies the theory of user experience.After reading a large amount of literature and comparing the situation of the subject,the five elements of user experience of Jesse James Garrett(strategy layer)are selected.,scope layer,structure layer,framework layer,presentation layer)as a theoretical guide,while Donald Arthur Norman's reflective design as an auxiliary reference.The design process report sets up the three most representative young group user portraits:creative industry practitioners,knowledge explorers,and LOHAS who love life;based on user portraits and previous research findings,the needs are translated into functional structures.With the information architecture,a low-fidelity model was created,design specifications and application icons were developed according to the latest Complexion Reduction design style,high-fidelity prototype renderings were drawn,and interactive jumps were made to create dynamic operation prototypes and demo videos.This design is the first documentary culture vertical community in China.Users can discuss topics,initiate topics,and interact with the highlights of documentaries to discover more interests and possibilities.The author counts the number of vertical documentaries in the IOS App Store as one,so this design has great potential and space for development.
