Today, men have entered a highly developed society of information, and Internet has penetrated every field of manufactory and life. As a result, it comes to the most active period that traditional media penetrates the internet in the aspect of information supply. Meanwhile, traditional newspaper industry is facing the unprecedented challenges under the impact of the tide of digitization. To survive with development, all kinds of newspaper in each size try to get in touch with internet. Compared with other forms such as"handset newspaper","electronic newspaper"and so on, newspaper website, by means of combining its content and internet, is given a big advantage. According to the data, the first newspaper website in the world appeared in America in 1990's, and the first newspaper website appeared in China on October 20, 1995, which was the result of the development of"Chinese Trade Newspaper"on the internet. Later on, Chinese newspapers established their own websites in succession. However, Chinese newspaper websites have stopped pacing forward since then. As we all know, newspaper websites supply media a position on the internet, and what the media should think about and explore is how to make full use of this position and dominate it with positive sound. This is actually the problem which will be mainly dealt with in this article.This article is divided into four parts, besides introduction and verdict. Part one mainly deals with the present situation of our newspaper websites development under the present media patterns. It thoroughly analyzes the relation between newspaper websites and newspaper and other kinds of websites. Its position and orientation are also discussed in part one. Part two describes the transmitting task of newspaper websites, contents formation of websites transmitting, news transmission, especially through the newspaper websites, as well as its advantages. What's more, it points out the pathological problems of newspaper websites transmission. Part three depicts the present managing situation of our newspaper websites, and gives an external analysis of the means of its survival and development. Advertisement on newspaper websites and multiform management are also be analyzed in great detail. In addition, the bottleneck profit of newspaper websites is mentioned in part three. The last part makes a wish for the future of our newspaper websites and puts forward the developing mode for our newspaper websites. It discusses whether it is feasible for our newspaper websites to charge. After getting familiar with its content, brand, technology, system, mechanism, and so on, it then comes up an innovative and imitable strategy for present development of our newspaper websites. Profit comes first. Survival or even development follows it. What should be solved at present is how to get profit, which is the point where the article starts and ends. This article is expected to be served as a kind of reference for the future development of our newspaper websites.
