Taiyuan Branch Of China Unicom SDH Transmission Network Optimization Design

Taiyuan Branch of China Unicom, after years of development, has made remarkable progress. However,as the network level is unclear, a network layer assumes a variety of features. The scheduling and business will become more and more difficult and complex in the future, and the network lacks convergence layer. The optimization changes parts of the backbone layer and the access layer into a convergence layer, and the network elements of the access layer are seperated the nodes of the convergence layer.So the backbone layer, access layer and convergence layer are completely separated. the issue of efficiency of line slot utilization is resolved and data services is added. In order to further improve network security, three specific aspects-device level protection function optimization, clock protection function optimization and network management optimization were discussed. By comparing,the benefits are obvious.At last according to the actual work of mine, suggestions on the transmission network maintenance and network optimization is advanced.
