The Visual Expression Character Of Digital Reading Interface

Reading is one of important methods by which people obtain information. With the maturization and improvement of social digitalization, digital publishment, digitalized reading tools, reading content, reading methods and the technologies and products of this research field, digitalized reading becomes a new reading method. In the universal digitalized reading environment, this thesis organizes the origin and development of digitalized reading, concludes the characteristics of digitalized reading through the comparison between digitalized reading and traditional reading from several aspacts such as reading methods, the space of reading medium, the forms of reading medium and etc.. From the aspect of visual communication design, on the basis of all the above study, this thesis analyses the visual elements of reading medium and the relationship between human and medium. The author illustrates the space of digitalized reading medium and the forms of visual elements in digitalized reading medium, concludes that visual design is a kind of alienation to traditional visual design, emphasizes on the illustration of the visual characteristics of digitalized reading medium.
