There have close relations between agriculture and the surevival, production activities of mankind, the realization of agricultural modernization in today's world has become a major issue. Although slash-and-burn era of the past, but there is still moust of arable land from cattle artificial fertilization situation, not only labor and efficiency is low, but also every parameter needs artificial record and gather, the work load is huge, apt to make mistakes, can't already meet the existing agriculture observation request. At the same time, development and application of information technology, electronic technology and computer technology, offer strong technical support for automatic agriculture observation. Under this kind of environment, the automatic agriculture observation technology of our country has got the fast development. Through the research work for many years, it is already ripe basically to observe technology. But in the research of its key equipment—the portable collector, research work far lags behind the foreign developed country. The portable collector is one of the main technological difficult problems of the agriculture instrument trade of our country. There are no ripe products yet at home. The supply and demand depends on the foreign import products mainly.Most farmland irrigation systems are independent monitoring system, only a simple control, data collection or storage site. It has been far from meeting the large demand for agricultural monitoring. The farmland irrigation wireless monitoring system makes full use of high integration, reliability, maintenance-free characteristics of embedded system to enhance the adaptability of the agricultural terminal equipment.In the face of the current situation of developing new portable collector, with high accuracy and high flexibility for our country, this thesis carries on research and structures to the main control unit of the portable collector. It offers the platform for the designs of other parts of portable collector. The main control unit such as the microcomputer embedded in the farmland irrigation wireless monitoring system, is the controler and operation core of the whole gather system. The quality of its performance determines directly the kinds of the collector function and excellence of performance.The controller of farmland irrigation wireless monitoring-control system uses S3C2410X as the core ARM9 System. The hardware platform is a foundation of the embedded system. Through an analysis of hardware composition of embedded system, combining with the present situation of embedded microprocessor, this thesis researches and designs the hardware of the main control unit of the portable collector, including memory circuit, serials circuit, touch sreen circuit, bus interface circuit design and so on.Software platform is based on the Linux operating system, and uses MiniGUI software to achieve human-computer interface of the controller design and implementation. The controller uses the human-computer interface to control the field irrigation wireless remote monitoring system. System software includes the bootloader, Linux naturalization, programme of the driver and applications.Finally, the paper gives the controller of farmland irrigation wireless monitoring-control system test results, through test results to detect application of the viability and stability in the practical in the future, and then gives some advices for the forthur reseasch.
