Implementation Of A Device Management System Based On ASP

With the development of enterprise MIS system, it is exigent request to establish device management system to improve device usage ratio. By analyzing the existing problems in device management, the paper provides one solution to manage the device efficiently. Based on the practice of developing S company's device management system, the paper mainly discusses the device management system characteristics, system architecture, design and implementation. Based on computer, database and network technology, the solution realizes a B/S system. The device management system is developed on the operation system of Microsoft Windows server 2003 Chinese version, utilizing the technology of ASP and ADO component to access the Microsoft SQL database. Microsoft IIS system acts as the Web server. The system manages the device's information, state and real-time usage, as well as controls the device management procedure.The system improves the device usage ratio and device management efficiency, avoids purchasing redundant device and contributes economic benefit to company.
