Fuel Gas Pipelines Information System Using MAPGIS

Establishing fuel gas pipelines information system Using MAPGIS is deveoloped by the author in the stage of master to satisfy the needs of informationization construction as well as management of measuring data of Jinan Steel Works.This system takes the MAPGIS as GIS developing platform, taking the topographic map of the factory district of Jinan Steel Works as background, taking space data and property data of fuel gas pipeline as well as auxiliary equipment( all kinds of meters, pipes etc.) as core, utilizing computer technology, geography information system(GIS) technology, database technology, three dimention technology, internet technology as well as multimedia technology, inlaying data collecting system, establishing gas pipeline net information system integrating space geography information of meters/pipeline, property of meters/pipeline, meters's operating data.The system is developed based on two kinds of pattern of C/S and B/S i.e. applying browser/server and Client/Server structure, adopt three stratum model( data server stratum, application logic stratum, manifestation stratum) to design and develop the system frame. B/S structure is used in production daily management, its operating is routine and continuous, in charge of the functions such as display, inquiry, simple analysis, statistics of figure/property information, etc. construction t.Internet/intranet technology browser and affair management C/S structure maily is used for system administrator.the system acquires user's good appraise with its strong function, excellent framing, simple interface after its application.
