Automatic winder is quite important equipment in the produce flow of textile industry, which is one of vital products in textile machines. It is the most intelligent textile equipments, called as 'the pearl on the Crown of textile machine'. The quality of winding will directly affect loomage's quality in the latter working procedure.With the rapid development of World Textile's techincs and technology in recent years, low-speed produce sheering off high-speed is the mostly characteristic. The techincs of winding turning to all-automatic development is a trend, and which has recognized by experts in textile realm all over the world. In our country, the markets of Automatic winder are monopolized by Germany, Italy, Japan, etc. In order to change this situation, the design and innovation of Automatic winder are being paid more attention day by day. The Automatic winder made in our country will enhance variety and quality of products, alleviating labour force intensity, improving working environment, economizing cost, and enhancing our drygoods competitive power, bringing considerable economic benefits.This thesis "Design and Implementation of Embedded Intelligent Controlling for Automatic Winder" is a sub-system of "Research and Design a New Generation Automatic Winder" in Jan-tech Co., Ltd. Based on Automatic winder actuality inside and outside and practical situation, a new Automatic winder will be designed, and the key technologies used in this system are studied, make a contribution to our textile industry.The thesis firstly gives a full review of background, actuality and significance of the project. Secondly, it makes an analysis of project-related theory, which is composed of the hardware, software and architecture of machine. Thirdly, it expounds the design scheme and expatiates on the design and implementation of Automatic winder's intelligent control system, which includes some of Circuit Design, the communication between MCU and FPGA/CPLD, the controlled stepper motor by FPGA/CPLD and the implementation of CAN-bus. Finally, it gives the conclusion and prospect of the thesis.The innovations of this thesis are as follow:1. Design and implementation of circuit through EDA of Protel.2. The implementation of the embedded RTOS uCOS-II in this control system.3. Stepper motor controlled by FPGA/CPLD effectively.4. CAN communication works well in the system.
