Grid is an integrated computing and resource environment, whose core is to eliminate isolated information island and realize resource sharing, including computing resource, storing resource, communication resource, software resource, information resource, knowledge resource, and so on. Applying grid technology to remote education system can integrate all kinds of computing resources by an effective way, hide its internal isomerism and dynamic character to form a high-performance computing enviroment of mutual usage, mutual collaboration and relatively transparence for users in order to provide the highly effective and credible coordination computing service.In this paper, through introducing the WSRF (Web Service Resource Framework) technology specification, a new grid education model based on the OGSA(Open Grid Service Architecture) is proposed. Then its basic principles, structure and each part's main functions are analyzed and studied. Several essential technical problem solutions of its information service part are discussed in details. Finally, information service part with functions of the service registration, publishment and call is designed, and the implementation processes of WS-Resource programming, the notification mechanism and the information service are described. This system is established on the WSRF, the latest Globus technology specification, and the GT4 (Globus Toolkit 4), a complete implementation of the WSRF specification, which enables it to have good performance on grid information index and query, and can adapt the grid change characteristic dynamically. It provides a more direct and more consistent grid information access interface, and the more flexible information service operation for the users. So, it has the features of suppleness, platform-independence and extensibility.
