Ogsa Grid Services-based Applications

With the popularization of Internet, the different people's demands of information to Internet also sharply adding up, and the swift development of Grid Computing is being accompanied with Internet. The Grid technology is thought to be the next wave of development of information technology. Unite Web Service's technique up to date, and take shape new generation grid architectural structure OGSA. Service was all is a fundamental idea of OGSA, among the OGSA, everything wholly is serving. The birth of OGSA indicates that Grid is not only used in scientific computing area, but also used to provide wide, fundamental network environmental supports to commercial applications, in order to realize more convenient information sharing and interaction.This thesis describes the basic content of the grid definition and the realization technique of the grid service in the grid computing, and describes the basic content and running mechanism of OGSA in detail. Probed the realization of the grid computing platform-Globus Toolkit3.0. In addition, an OGSA application prototype system is developed which realizes storage resource, data resource and network resource sharing, and demonstrates feasibility and superiority of OGSA in resource integration.The research work on OGSA in this thesis is absolutely a meaning try. Through the work, it is verified that OGSA has the advantages not only in realizing the high-performance resource sharing and cooperation, but also in eliminating information and resource island. Grid application on OGSA is far from mature now, development and deployment of Grid Service also need improving, but Grid application on OGSA must develop quickly with the development of relative technologies and applications.
