Subway plays an important role in modern urban transportation system. After a long and repeating period, the subway industry in our country has stepped onto the path of fast development in recent years. However, as the reasons of geology, construction quality, materials aging, operation management and so on, a part of the Subways have safety issues, affect the efficiency of these projects, or even threat the safety of the people's lives and property . Therefore we should fully use the current technology of the computer hardware and software, develop the subway safety monitor system, conduct scientific management to the the data of the subway, make qualitative and quantitative analysis of the subway in order to achieve real-time monitoring of structural states.Embedded subway monitor system is designed for the actual needs for the Shanghai Metro. This system is mainly composed of data collection terminal, embedded terminals and PC.This paper is mainly about embedded device, comprehensively discussing the exposition of the design and implementation of this system. This paper is divided into five parts: the first part introduces the background of the item; the second part introduces the measuring principle of the monitoring system, the overall structure and function block diagram; the third part describes the hardware design and implementation of the embedded terminal, which includes the AD conversion, storage devices, communications interface, human-computer interaction, and other external module hardware circuit; the fourth part introduces the Windows CE.net device driver model and the development of transplantation process, and detailedly discusses the reduction of the operating system, displays, USB, keyboard, serial port, and other external device driver development and Bootloader development; the fifth part discusses the application development, including the functions and processes of the data acquisition modules, the data analysis module, the data communication modules and the systems management module. The sixth part detailed introduces the hardware testing,software debugging. Finally, this paper makes a summary of the system and makes an expectation to the still inadequate, the future application and development prospects.
