The designer and manufactrurer of intergrited circuits have been focused on security. As the heart of any digital system, CPU is the key to the security designing. This dissertation aims at security designingof the main data opertating units in CPU----the arithmetical-logicalunit, multipiling unit and dividing unit.We adopted Berger code, which is widely used,as the main self-checking technique of the hereinbefore units. The principium and approach of Berger code was introduced systematically. During this process, a theory of digital flux was established. It made the following discussion simpler and more efficient.74181 series ALU was chose as the basis of our design. Dual carry chain was introduced and pipeline strcture was utilized to implement and accelerate Berger code self-checking in parallel carry ALU.In succession, complement array multiplier was talked about with the introducetion of generalized full adders, and the flux theory was extended to algebra domain. Finally, the complement array divider was discussed. The complement array multiplier was implemented and tested. The outcome of the simulation confirmed the design. Because the multiplier is a typical applicantion of the flux theory, this experiment afforded a reliable validation to the theory.
