The Alkali Controlling System Of Mercerization Machine Based On PLC

In chemical industry, Printing and dyeing industry and Paper-making industry, concentration of alkali needs to be censored and controlled on real time. At present, we use titration by hand in our country. In this way, the concentration of alkali cannot be controlled on real time. In order to innovate the existing system, an on-time inspecting & controlling system based on PLC is adopted, and the hardware & software design is analyzed.Firstly, the situation of Printing and dyeing industry is introduced. Some models of mercerization machine are listed. The goals are given based on the existing mercerization machine,.Secondly, the controlling system based on PLC and Touch Panel was adopted. The concentration sensor for high-concentration alkali basded on density is adopted,which is very suitable for mercerization machine. With these sensors,the level and concentration of alkali are censored and transferred to the PLC. After calculating and analysis of these signals, PLC controls the opening degree of valves. The level and concentration of alkali can be controlled in this way.The hardware and software of the system plus the procedure diagram and the field debug are introduced in detail.After the field debug, the system is operating successfully and the chief goals are completed.
