In the industry of micro-disk manufacturing, competitiveness depends on the extent of automatization and on how information is organized. The existing information management systems of the corporation have a good many shortcomings: the data collecting limits to local information, the lack of a system that embodies data collecting, quality management and manufacture planning. To solve these problems, this article presents a solution that using JSP and JavaBean technique and the Linux environment to create an information management system for the micro-disk company. The solution contains a B/S (browser/server) structure. In the server tier, Tomcat acts as the application server as well as the web server. In the data tier, MySQL acts as the database server. Servers in both tiers are running in Linux and users in the client tier can easily access to the system via network. The solution is among the most popular nowadays. It is light and practical, and so advanced, secure, compatible and flexible that can well satisfy the micro-disk corporation. The information management system of produce process is an important part for the corporation's whole information system, and its developing techniques have been sophisticated and are still progressing rapidly. The B/S structure and 3-tier have become the most popular structure for web application developing. As Java becomes the predominant technique for web application designing, and JDBC becomes more and more mature, JSP, which is famous for its platform-independence has become the first choice for developing B/S systems. Further more, using JSP/Servlet and JavaBean to realize MVC model can further improve the maintainability and flexibility of the system. Functions like real time monitoring, data statistic and analysis, and manufacture planning can be achieved by using these dynamic web techniques and the designing for operation flow and database.
