| Location Based Service(LBS)is a very hot research topic in recent years. It is the result of the interaction of computer database, geographic information system, mobile location, Internet, wireless communication, etc. As the implement of LBS, Mobile GIS has a very bright business future, many countries and companies look it as the driver force in the next round of economy growth. At the same time, with the fast development of 3D GIS, it is realizable to building a visible, digital, informational and intelligential system, and can be fed back to users in time.But neither Mobile GIS nor 3D GIS can provide perfect LBS alone. After deeply analysis and research in some technologies of the 3D mobile GIS base on smart client, the author use 3D Moblie GIS to resolve the problems which are GIS enterprise face to directly. Contents of the thesis are:1) After research the requirement of 3D mobile GIS, author analysis and research the solution of 3D mobile GIS based on smart client.2) Use Direct 3D which is one of 3D API libraries to implement multimedia user interface, that can get user more excited experience.3) Research the solution of use mass date on mobile device at offline.4) Use XML to integrate information which are from various web servers.Based on all above research, .Net, Direct3D, XML are used in Etep which is a prototype of 3D Mobile GIS. As the result, 3D Mobile GIS based on Smart Client can get some problems of traditional Mobile GIS. At the same time, with the 3D visible technology, users can intuitionist master the information with the geography location. So it provides a solution to enter the masses market for GIS enterprises. |
