Research And Design Of Data Exchange Platform For Small And Medium Enterprises

When division of labor becomes more globalized and market competition is increasingly fierce, many individual companys voluntary form a large supply chain for specific market opportunities. With competition shifts from enterprises to the supply chain, to enhance efficiency of entire supply chain has become key to boosting their core competitiveness. The efficiency of the supply chain is evaluated by reaction speed to market and capabilities of inter-enterprise supply chain collaboration, which requires high integration of inter-enterprise systems in both data and workflow layers.Technology in inter-enterprise supply chain management area is called B2B integration. It has developed from early point-to-point to hub-spoke. Hub is a data-gathering mode, in which hundreds of supply chain trading partners' proprietary data formats are exchanged through a single access point. Currently multinational companies establish a hub to manage their electronic supply chains. To acquire cooperation opportunity with MNCs, China's SMEs must implement B2Bi with MNCs. But the solution is costly. Thus, research on low-cost B2Bi solution has great meaning for China's SMEs.This thesis makes analyse on MNCs and main B2B solution providers' B2Bi case and suggests an application provider service mode data exchange platform solution for China's SMEs. This platform served SMEs by providing data exchange service, data format tranformation service and enterprise system integration service. The framework of hub-spoke based platform is designed following J2EE techbnology. The platform defines uniform data exchange process and designs effective transaction tracking mechanism. It's capable of exchanging any e-business standards format and enterprise proprietary format data. Currently, it has implemented RosettaNet RNIF2.0. Besides, it provides tools to help enterprises quickly deploy service. As a integral B2Bi solution based on uniform standards, data exchange platform, which has low cost, high integration and rapid implementation advantages, can expect bright application prospects.
