Study On The Calibration For Six-axis Wheel Force Transducer

Six-axis Wheel Force Transducer (WFT), the structure of which is very specific and complex, is the key part of automobile road experiment system. Therefore, study on the calibration is of great significance to redesign and use of WFT and to study automobile road experiment system. The calibration test for WFT requires special calibration equipment. In order to increase accuracy of calibration result, the calibration for WFT is studied. The work of the dissertation is as follows:(1) The weighing on-vehicle static calibration technique is chosen, and then the inferior data acquisition system for the weighing on-vehicle static calibration equipment is designed. The inferior system, which is designed using the C8051F005 singlechip as the key part and the C as the program language, can acquire the data of WFT and the weighing platform synchronously.(2) The superior software system is designed under Delphi, and it can acquire data in real time, display data curve and save data. Data processing program is programmed using Matlab.(3) The WFT are calibrated by the way of the weighing on-vehicle static calibration. The static calibration test data is disposed by the way such as filtering. The sensitivity of the WFT is acquired by the least-square method. The parameters of the static performance of the WFT are computed.(4) The dynamic negative-step loading calibration equipment for the WFT is designed. The dynamic calibrating test is completed. The test data is filtered using wavelet transform. The parameters of the dynamic performance are computed by system identification.The static on-vehicle calibration test advances accuracy and reliability of calibration, and then the parameters of the dynamic performance are acquired by the dynamic calibrating test. The calibration is validated on vehicle.
