The vehicle experiment based on the wheel force measurement, is an important method to assess the vehicle total performance. The movement of vehicle is a result of force effect made by the ground and the wheels, so it is of great significance to measure the wheel force in multi-axis for researching and estimating the dynamic performance of the vehicle, such as braking, accelerating, suspension, tire abrasion and road profile collecting.Inheriting the produced fruits, this paper introduced the 6-axis wheel force transducer based on wireless digital communication and the distributed data acquisition system based on parallel data bus. The main research fruits in this dissertation are summarized as follows:1. Using spoke sensor as the wheel force sensor, an embedded circuit is designed to sample the wheel force signal. The signal transmission and data acquisition are studied, and the wheel force transducer and DAQ system is carried out.2. A embed wheel force signal acquisition module has been developed. It converts the analog signal to digital signal, and send out the digital signal through the wireless digital communication.3. A wheel force transmission module has been developed, to change the wireless data to the general data, and also measuring the wheel rotating speed and angle. The transmission module and acquisition module construct a general multi-axis wheel force transducer.4. To collect the wheel force transducer output data, a distributed data acquisition device has been developed. The client module collect the transducer data, the host module control the client module and collect the data. A parallel data bus is developed to meet the mass data, a serial bus is developed to transfer the control messages.This paper provides a general precept for the wheel force measurement and data acquisition. The design method and resolve of this system is of great significance for designing similar systems. The wheel force transducer has been used in the vehicle experiment.
